Organic coconut sugar from NO SUGAR SUGAR® is obtained in the traditional way from the sweet nectar of the coconut palm (coco nucifera) in Indonesia. The extracted juice is filtered and boiled first and heated as long as small until small grain crystallize. The result is a beautiful natural, golden sugar with a fine caramel taste. The taste of our organic coconut sugar is delicately sweet and tastes not, as the name may suggest, like coconut.

A healthy advantage of coconut sugar is the glycemic index of. With 35 it is very low and thus even below honey or cane sugar. A low glycemic Index causes that after consumption the blood sugar level rises very slowly and strong blood sugar fluctuations can be avoided.
