300 g | diced ham |

how it's done:
Pluck the outer leaves of the cabbage, remove the stalk and slit or slice it. Slice carrots and the bell pepper as well. In a pot, fry the diced ham in some oil. Add NO SUGAR SUGAR and let caramelize.
Deglaze by adding a generous splash of herb vinegar that the bottom of the pot is about 0,5cm covered in vinegar. Whisk until all of the sugar has dissolved. Then add the sliced cabbage, carrots and bell pepper and let steam shortly, before adding the water.
Let the cabbage cook for 30-45 minutes, and season to taste with caraway, salt and pepper before serving.
The cabbage salad tastes great to bratwurst, cured pork and dumplings.
