Ingredients |
|
5–7 | apple (sour) |
2 | mandarines |
some | orange juice |
5–6 tbsp. | Erythritol Gold |
16 g | Vanilla Sweet |
2–3 | cloves |
1 prise | star anise (grounded) |
1/2 tsp. | cinnamon |
lemon peel |
How it's done:
Peel and core the apples and mandarines, dice them and place them in a pot with the remaining ingredients. Bring it to a boil and simmer slowly for about 10 to 15 minutes. When everything is soft, remove the pot from the heat and let it cool. If it's not sweet enough add some more Erythritol Gold while cooling down. Solid ingredients such as lemon zest, cinnamon and cloves should be removed before serving.
Tip: The apple compote can be passed through a strainer to serve as a finepuree.
