1 -2 EL | Vanilla Sweet |
2 – 3 EL | Cashews |
2 – 3 EL | Walnuts |
2 – 3 EL | Hazelnuts |
2 – 3 EL | Almonds |
How it's done:
Chop the nuts and roast them completely in a pan without fat.
Place the amaranth in a high pot and add 1 to 2 teaspoons of Vanilla Sweet. Let pop the amaranth under medium heat and stirr constantly. If a bit more than the half of the amaranth is popped, remove the pot from the plate and continue stirring with the residual heat. If at least 2/3 of the amaranth is popped give the "mini-popcorn" for cooling in a bowl.
Put all the ingredients together in a storage container and shake vigorously.
