1 | organic lemon |
250 g | Xylitol |
250 ml | water |
1 bunch | thyme |
at will | sparkling water / Prosecco |
How it's done:
Wash the lemon under hot water and squeeze it out. Cut the pressed lemon halves into small pieces and boil together with the Xylitol and water in a pot. When theXylitol has dissolved completely, take the pot from the hotplate. Wash the thyme and add to the hot Xylitol-water together with the lemon juice. Allow to cool down and then strain through a fine sieve.
Place the syrup in a boiled glass bottle and store in a fridge.
Serve a shot of lemon-thyme-syrup with ice cubes and eithersparkling water or proecco.
