batter: | |
125 g | butter |
125 g | NO SUGAR SUGAR Xylitol |
3 | eggs |
125 g | flour |
1/2 package | baking powder |
filling: | |
1 kg | apples |
1 tablespoon | NO SUGAR SUGAR Xylitol |
1 teaspoon | cinnamon |
125 ml | water |
optional | raisins |
crunchy flakes: | |
25 g | butter |
75 g | NO SUGAR SUGAR Xylit |
100 ml | milk |
75 g | oats |
75 g | cornflakes |
how it's done:
For the filling, peel, core and cut the apples into small pieces. Place everything in a pot together with water, cinnamon, NO SUGAR SUGAR and raisins (if using) and cook for 7-8 minutes. In the meantime, prepare a batter using all the ingredients from the list above and fill it into a greased springform pan.
For the crunchy flakes quickly heat butter and milk with NO SUGAR SUGAR and add the oats/cornflakes mixture. Spread the apples without the remaining water on the batter and evenly sprinkle the crunchy flakes on top. Bake the cake at 180°C circulating air for about 30 minutes until it's golden brown.
Our Tip: Instead of apples you can use pears or a mixture of apples and pears. If the pears are very ripe, they have to be cooked shorter than the apples.
