Jellies, marmelades and fruit spreads are combined under the main name jam. But why is our "jam" actually a fruit spread? In the jam regulation, the appropriate answers are found, since the respective compositions and fruit components as well as a sugar content of at least 55% are regulated in the most exact way. Fruit spreads made from fruits mixed with alternative sweeteners, e.g. with agave syrup or as in our case with Erythritol+Stevia are not covered by the jam regulation. In fruit spreads, the proportion of fruits and sugars is not regulated. Thus, our fruit spreads can be produced with at least 80% fruit and without added sugar in the varieties apricot, wild berry and strawberry.
